Surveying Services Sydney
Elite Survey delivers surveying services Sydney wide and across Australia, working in eight connected disciplines - from construction setout on Australia's largest infrastructure builds to reality capture, monitoring and digital engineering. Each service is delivered by the same team, out of offices in Caringbah NSW, East Fremantle WA and Pacific Pines QLD. Select a service below for scope, equipment and project detail.
Our surveying services Australia Wide
Setout, levelling, control networks and monitoring delivered to G71 specification on projects including the M6 surface works, the Warringah Freeway Upgrade and WestConnex. Clients include CPB, ACCIONA, Lendlease and John Holland, with boundary setout carried out under a registered surveyor.
Working over water demands methods that account for tide, swell and access - at Cockle Bay, a non-standard fixed-pile pontoon was held in position with a strap system against tidal movement. Elite's directors alone bring over 20 years' marine construction experience across NSW and QLD, from pre-tender through to handover.
The remote-controlled MK Otter keeps the operator in a safe location on shore while its shallow draft reaches water crewed vessels cannot. Data is captured every 0.3 seconds by echosounder to plus or minus 100mm on MGA coordinates, across more than 100 hydrographic surveys in the last four years.
Structures and ground movement are tracked autonomously by Leica robotic total stations running GeoMoS, solar-powered on self-levelling tribrachs for long unattended deployments, with 24/7/365 remote access and SMS-triggered alerts. Inclinometers, extensometers, settlement points and thermal imagery extend the same system, proven on the New Sydney Fish Market, Warringah Freeway Upgrade and WestConnex.
Be on-site without going to site. High-density laser scanning captures existing conditions as a measurable point cloud, proven on the Sydney Opera House Lift 36 renewal and across 16km of the New M5 tunnel at 3mm data density, scanned on night shift.
A discipline of digital skillsets using primarily model environments for true collaboration and verification of high quality data, to optimise outcomes. Inconsistent 2D shop drawings from multiple subcontractors were reconciled into one coordinated 3D model at the Sydney Opera House, and clash detection on the WestConnex SPI Portal Facade caught a beam-to-retaining-wall conflict before crane mobilisation.
Mapping underground utilities at highway speed, the vehicle-mounted Impulse Radar Raptor multi-channel GPR system converts to a cart for areas vehicles cannot reach. Condor processing software detects slab joins, dowel bar positions, reinforcement patterns and voiding, reducing the risk of utility strikes, delays and redesigns.
UAV Aerial Survey
Aerial capture covers ground a crew on foot cannot reach economically - UAV LiDAR, aerial photography, aerial mapping and volume calculation across stockpiles, quarries and earthworks. Operations run under Elite's documented RPAS Operations Manual and operational procedures library.
